First seen by Spyke, he is mistakenly believed to have struck him with lightning—though it is later clarified that Spyke was hit by natural lightning, not Arcbeetle. He soon reappears alongside Space Medafighter X, effortlessly defeating a group of Medarots that had previously overwhelmed Metabee, Sumilidon, and Kantaroth combined.
